Having sustained injuries on his fingers after touching a running electric fan, Max doesn't go near a fan if it's on. If it's off, he thinks it's something to play with, which includes the plug still attached to the electric outlet.
This morning.
Me: Max, do not touch the electric fan.
Max: *kebs*
Me (in a slightly louder voice): Max! No.
Max: *nag beautiful eyes, complete with smile*
Me: Max. NO.
Max: *raises a fist*
Me (WTF?!! where did he learn that??): I said no. COME HERE.
Max: *raises two fists*
Me: *pinagdilatan si Max*
Max: *runs to me and gives me a hug*
Nakuha rin sa tingin.
What is it about that old mommy trick that it works better than raising your voice? Worked on me before, is now working with Max.
